Service

In the area of service, youth participate annually in Souper Bowl of Caring collecting funds and then shopping and bagging for the Trinity Food Pantry.  Several youth regularly assist with   Trinity’s children’s programs such as Easter activities, Vacation Bible School, Nursery and Children’s Church. Other youth serve the congregation as ushers, acolytes, lay readers and committee members.   Special service opportunities youth have participated in include: Stamp Out Hunger, Stop Hunger Now, Operation Christmas Child, Salvation Army bell ringing, and the Pines Family Angel Tree.  Finally, Trinity youth helped host a group from Rivet High School that spent their spring break in Valdosta for the Habitat Collegiate Challenge workweek.
