Building and Grounds Committee

Caring for our campus with purpose, partnership, and community.

The Building & Grounds Committee works faithfully behind the scenes to ensure that Trinity’s facilities remain welcoming, safe, and well-maintained. From coordinating repairs to overseeing routine upkeep, this team helps steward our building as a place of ministry, worship, and hospitality.

We also partner with local organizations who use our campus for meetings, community services, and special events—strengthening our connection to the broader Valdosta community.

Throughout the year, the committee hosts church work-days—fun, hands-on gatherings where members of all ages join together to spruce up our grounds and care for our shared space. These days are filled with good work, good fellowship, and a shared sense of purpose as we care for the church God has entrusted to us.

Serving with Building & Grounds is a meaningful way to make a difference—one lightbulb, flower bed, and fresh coat of paint at a time.

Worship Committee: Creating a sacred space where the church gathers to meet God.

The Worship Committee is a sub-committee of Building & Grounds and is entrusted with caring for the sacred spaces where worship happens. From maintaining the sanctuary to preparing the communion table, this team works faithfully behind the scenes to support the rhythm and beauty of our weekly services.

The committee oversees the changing of the liturgical colors, attends to seasonal décor, and ensures that the worship environment reflects the church year with reverence and meaning. They also handle the preparation and scheduling of communion, making sure this central act of worship is offered with care and hospitality.

In partnership with the pastor and worship leaders, the committee helps evaluate and provide thoughtful feedback on worship services, always seeking to honor God and enrich the spiritual experience of the congregation.

Whether arranging paraments, polishing communion trays, or helping shape the flow of the service, the Worship Committee serves with quiet dedication to create a space where all are invited to worship with joy, beauty, and reverence.
