The Finance Committee helps Trinity Presbyterian Church steward its resources faithfully and responsibly. We work to ensure that every dollar entrusted to the church is used wisely to support ministry, outreach, facilities, and the long-term health of our congregation.

The Finance Committee provides leadership and management in several key financial areas:
1. Annual Budget Planning

Develops the yearly church budget

2. Monthly Financial Review

Monitors giving trends and spending patterns

Ensures ministries stay within budget guidelines
3. Stewardship & Giving

Supports the annual stewardship season

Encourages faithful giving practices

Helps provide clarity around tithing, pledging, and special offerings
4. Financial Policies & Procedures

Maintains and updates church financial policies

Ensures compliance with Presbyterian polity and accounting standards

Oversees internal controls, reimbursements, and spending guidelines
5. Special Funds & Designated Giving

Reviews designated fund activity

Oversees memorial gifts, restricted funds, and mission offerings

Ensures gifts are used according to donor intent and Session oversight
6. Reporting & Transparency

Works with the Treasurer and Bookkeeper to provide clear, accurate reports

Shares periodic updates with Session and the congregation

Ensures accessible and understandable financial information
7. Long-Range Financial Planning
